Shrikhand
Its Authentic dish of our family.
Before my marriage at my home from our childhood when grandma make this before day Of "Holi" Festival we know that the next day we get Sweet call Shrikhand.
Grandma always make it like that Maska n tie it in Muslin cloth n Hang it for whole night. Next day add sugar,Cardamom powder.
I also use to make with same way n taste. But makes in two flavors.
Simple Elayachi Flavour
Dry fruit Flavour
Ingredients:
1 ltr Full Fat Milk
1 cup Hung Curd
200 Gms Powder Sugar
1 tsp Cardamom Powder
For Dry fruit Flavour
2 tab sp Split Almond
1 tab sp split Pistachio
Method
Boil Milk let it cool down.
Add hung curd n Mix well or beat well.
Leave it for set around 7 to 8 hrs or due to weather.
Now drain it in Muslin cloth n let it complete to drain excess water.
Tie it well n hang over it. Or put weight on it. After make Maska thick untied Musline cloth.
Sift Maska in sieve add powder sugar in batches like adding with tab sp. Lightely rub with your palm. Rub well till maska n sugar combined well.
Now add Cardamom powder mix well n keep freeze for get chill.
For Dry fruit flavour half devide mixture add split Almond n pistachio.
