Pigeon Peas Kabab
It's traditional dish of our community n mostly made in Winter season when Arhar Dana Available.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Fresh peeled Pigeon Peas
2 + 1/2 cup Rice Flour
1/2 cup Wheat flour
1+1/2 tsp Green chilly paste
1+1/2 tsp Ginger paste
1/2 cup Jaggery (Gur)
Salt to taste
1 tsp sesame seeds
4 to 5 tsp Oil
Water
Boil 1 glass of water add Jaggery, chilly n Ginger paste,salt n sesame seeds. Boil till Jaggery melt.
Off the gas flame n after 5 mins add Oil n flours. Lightly mix with spatula. If need water to make dough like Paratha then add.
Now in Pressure cooker put some water add Pigeon Peas/Toor dana. Put wire stand sift dough in chhani n put in cooker. Cover with lid n blow 3 whistles.
Cool down it.
Now mash the dough properly n make it smooth.
Now add boiled pigeon Peas/Toor dana n lightly mix it.
Give Kabab shape n deep fried till brown.
