Khandvi

Very famous n Popular Farsan or snack in Gujrat.

Very easy to make with this method no continuesaly stirring or look on while making. I made it in pressure cooker.

Ingredients:

Recipe for khandvi
Ingredients :
1 cup gram flour/Besan
1 cup curd+ 2 cup water
1 sp ginger paste
1 sp green chilly paste
Salt to taste
pinch of hing
1/2 sp turmeric powder

Mix curd n water beat well.
Take thick bottom base vessel add all ingredients well.
Pressure cook batter with lid for 3 whistles on high flame then simmer for 2 mins.
Cool down it again stir it properly for 2 mins.
Grease kitchen plat form.
Spread mixture with spatula very thin layer. Rest for 5 to 7 mins.
Put cut of 2 to 2 1/2 inch.  Roll it.

For tempering
1 t sp Mustard seeds
1 t sp sesame seeds
2 sp oil
Curry leaves
Pinch of hing
Heat oil splutter mustard n sesame seeds add hing n curry leaves. Pour onto khandvi n garnish with chopped coriander leaves, fresh grated coconut n Anar Dana.
