Surti Locho Homemade

One of the famous n daily available Morning Savory called Breakfast in South Gujrat n specially Famous from Surat. At Every street or corner U get this Surti Locho in Surat.
Enjoy its Hot Hot specially in Winter taste Awesome n filling wonderful. With Onion n Green Chuteny.

Today its Homemade Surti Locho.

Ingredients:

1 cup Chana Dal
1 tab sp Moong Dal

Soaked both Dal for 7 to 8 hrs.
Wash n drain it n grain little bit coarsely with adding 1/2 to 1/3 cup Curd.
Leave it  Overnight for fermentation.

Next morning U need
1 sp Green chilly paste
1 sp Ginger paste
Salt to taste
1 sp Eno
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1+1/2 cup warm water

Mix all ingredients in batter. Consistency of batter should be laddle pouring easily.

Cook in Steamer for 10 to 12 mins.

For Masala Sprinkle:
1/2 tsp Red chilly Powder
1/2 tsp rock salt
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp chat Masala powder

Mix well All powder n sprinkle on Locho.

Serve hot with Sev,Chuteny, refined oil n Onions.
