Capsicum Paneer Sabji

When evening menu not decide n kids want paneer sabji but there r only capsicum one ingrident have in hand. So try with paneer n capsicum n make basic punjabi gravy. Made nice one sabji with kulcha,paratha or chapati. Once should have to try this one m sure u like n love it .


For gravy:


3 fine chooped onion
Tomato puree of 3 tomatoes
5 to 6 clove of garlic
1 inch Ginger
10 to 15 cashew nut soak for 15 mins in warm water
1 t sp poppy seeds (khus khus)
1 tab sp red chilly powder
1 sp coriander powder
1/4 sp termeric powder
Salt to taste
1/2 sp kasoori methi.

Other Ingridents:

2 med size capcicum cut length wise
150 gms paneer
4 to 5 sp oil/butter

Heat 1 sp butter/oil saute chopped onions for  4 to 5 mins. Add chopped garlic. Id u want spicy add 1 chooped green chilly otherwise skip it
Cool it down in mixi jar add saute onion, garlic, add ginger, (green chilly optional) soaked n drained cashew nut and poppy seeds. Make fine paste.
Make also tomato puree .

In same pan put 1 t sp oil saute chopped capsicum for 3 min. Keep aside.

Heat rest of oil/butter add onion paste cook  2 min add tomato puree after 2 min add spices. Add 1/2 cup water mix well.
Now add saute capcicum n paneer cook for 2 min.
Ready to serve .
