DHOKLA
Every Gujrati people's favourite snacks or call farsan. Can take in breakfast or with evening tea time.
Also my daughters very favourite menu for lunch. Weekly once she demand for that.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Rice
1 Cup Boiled Rice
1 Cup Urad dal
Soaked Rice n Urad dal seprately for over night.Next day wash n drain them. Soak 2 tab sp Flatten rice call poha n mix with washed rice.
Now grind little bit coarsely them seprately add 2 sp curd while grinding. Mix both batter n leave it 6 to 7 hrs for fermentation.
After fermenting ,take 1 Bowl batter add
1 sp green chilly paste
1/2 sp ginger paste
Salt to taste
2 sp oil
1/4tsp Eno
1/2 sessame seeds for sprinkle
For temper
2 sp oil
1 sp musterd seeds
Mix all ingredients in batter mix well pour into greased dish n keep in steamer fir 15 mins.
Cool down it. After 10 min give it temper.
Enjoy Dhokla with tea.
